Connect to River City Internet
Windows XP Dialup Set Up Instructions you can Print these to use later if need be.
- Go and click on the Start button and click on My Computer.
- This will open My Computer.
- When it opens click on the My Network Places .
- When the new box opens click on the My Network Connections.
- When the Network Connections opens you are going to want to click on Create a New Connection.
- Now we are at the New Connection Wizard just click next on this page.
- Next, you are now looking at the Network Connection Type page in here you want to make sure that there is a dot next to Connect to the Internet and click Next.
- Next, in this box make sure there is a dot next to Set up my Connection Manually and click Next.
- Next, make sure there is a dot next to the Connect using a Dial-Up Modem and click on Next.
- Next, in the ISP Name Box type in RiverCityInternet and click on Next.
- Next, Click in the White Box and put in Phone Number of the local Access Line, if you dont know what this is then click on the Link below and a popup will come up showing the access numbers.

- Next, You can leave a dot next to Anyone's Use or if you dont want other people to have access to your dialup settings or to use the internet click on My Use Only then. Now click on Next.
- Next, In here you need to put in your User Name "Your user name is Case Sensitive" which is going to be what ever user name we set up with an @userservices.net after your user name, Then procede to put in your Password and you can leave the other 2 boxes the way they are and click on Next.
- Now we have completed the New Connection Wizard. If you want an icon on your desktop then click the box and you can now click on the Finish button and then you are ready to start surfing on the internet.
